Building automation
A successful automation project is based on a comprehensive understanding of the building and its technical installations.
Automation controls the building’s technical functions. It makes the technology work as desired and serves the resident or user of the facility. The smarter buildings are made, the more technology is needed – and automation is there to lead the show.
A successful automation project is based on a comprehensive understanding of the building and its technical installations – how electricity, ventilation, heating and sanitation and other processes should create living comfort. Or how, among other things, security systems, alarms and lighting in public spaces should increase safety. With automation, we connect the functions together.
We carry out building automation projects either directly for construction companies or as subcontractors for installations contractors. Good cooperation and mutual appreciation among professionals are part of our principles.
Automation controls the building’s technical functions
Even though automation is included in the plans from the beginning, it gets installed at the final stage of the construction.
The installation of building automation starts in the frame stage of the building, for example by connecting district heat exchangers, actuators and valves, or preparing electrical system cabling lists.
The main part of our work is done during the last few months before the building is completed. Then we focus on programming the controls of various functions and building an automation center to which all technical functions of the building are connected. After testing and approvals, the building is ready for use.
One of our key tasks is to ensure that the construction site is completed on schedule. It requires strong experience and reliable own processes in building an automation solution.
